I was looking at the Xenon Ground Effects, and I was wondering what it typically costs to get GFX painted and installed? I have a 1997 Camaro in Mystic Teal, if it matters.

I have a buddy that got his side skirts for a Civic SI painted for $80. I would have to guess maybe $200-$300 for the whole kit.

 

It really depends how good you want it to be. Just my front piece was $340 painted, and that was one of the cheaper quotes I got.

 

a good shop will charge anywhere between 300-700 to paint the whole kit a shady shop will charge between 80-200 rember you get what u pay for

 

Also, where would you go to get this done? I was calling places from the phonebook yesterday, and they all told me that they only do collision repair. I live in Perry Hall, MD.

Body shop.

 

Make sure they do it right, too. I was talking to the guy I bought my Xenon kit off of and he said that, since the kit is rubber, it has to be coated with a certain coating so it can flex without cracking the paint. Not sure exactly what it was that he got it coated with first though..

They have to put a flexing agent in the paint. I used to have a 2001 z28 that I put the xenon kit on and it cost me $400 for a quality job.

 

Did that include installation?
