Are you working with Brent Franker or another Supporting Vendor?

 

I was working with Brent but he said he couldn't do stuff that big.

I put out a post and got Jack the Bull who said she was a vendor on here but I doubt it because she ripped me off.

The other guy just had a post on LS2.com I'll get his name so you can check.

In the meantime, can you give me a list of vinyl selling supporting vendors? I would love to contact them all and see which one would jump on this project for us.

Jason, I've been corresponding with a guy from ls1tech named kderedwolf. Turns out he just started up and still has to buy a Camaro before he can do these.

SO, I e-mailed Brent again (he's making a Z28 decal for me right now anyways) hoping we can talk him into them, maybe you can twist his arm

 

Sorry guys... not going to be able to do these at the moment. I just don't have the time I work 50 to 60 hours a week at my regular job and do these decals on the side. Making stripe kits it just too time consuming. If I start making a bunch of stripe kits it'll take the "fun" out of making these decals because all I'll be doing is "working" 16 hours a day and just don't want to do that... I want to keep this fun and still be able to hang out here and answer email questions like "How do I put a V8 in my V6"

 

So if Brent cant do it is it still against the rules to reccomend someone who can but isnt a supporting vendor seeing as he's the only one (SV) that does'em?

 

It's only against the rules to setup/organize a group buy from somebody who isn't a supporting vendor of this site. However, it would be acceptable for somebody to post a thread with something like "Look at my new stripes!" and then if another member asked "Where did you get them?" the person posting could respond with "I got them from xxx". That's ok... the site just can't be used to purposely promote a product from a non supporting vendor.

As for this thread... probably borderline because it looks like a number of people would end up getting them based on this thread which would almost qualify it as a group buy. I've stayed out of it because I didn't want to seem like a "jerk" so to speak because I knew I didn't want to make these and I'd look pretty much like a *** if I said "Can't talk about this here and I can't make them either"

If there is somebody who can make these for you guys at another board, the details should probably be discussed over there. But, since I'm kinda in the middle here on this one it would be best for Jason to answer how he wants it handled

 

Actually myself and a friend from work have been talking about this for wuite some time. He wanted to do a harrell clone and I just like the stripes. I wouldn't buy based on this thread but based on actual look of a finished kit. Since Brent can't do it do you guys know of anyone who could? I think there is more of a demmand for this kit than what is here, especially f someone comes out with a kit.
