How to get front grill off...

I have an 02 Z28. I want to remove the black grill off the front of the car. The 2 outer edges come out with easily removed tabs, but what is holding the center on? And how do I get it off?

Thanks,
Lori

Pull hard... I suggest, pull with one hand, and push near one of the clips at a time with the other hand.

I know people that have removed their grills all mangled, I did mine my way, looks perfect.

mine came off all mangled, but it didn't damage the front of the car more than it had already done so

+1 on the "JUST PULL" method

Mine came off all mangled too. It ripped right in the middle. Not like it mattered though. I didn't plan on putting it back on. *shrug*

I have been great thanks. Busy as hell. Getting engaged soon, looking to buy a house. Not sure if we want to get the house or the wedding first....

After you pulled yours off, did you leave it "as is" or get those wire mesh thingies?

Awww, congrats! If it were me, I'd do the wedding thing first and then you guys can get the house together.

I left it how it was. Doesn't matter now, it's someone else's problem. A guy came and drove my car away last night because with the new baby coming, we all won't fit. I cried my eyes out though. Who thought it would be so hard to give up a car? Oh well. Time to upgrade to something better in a few years. *sigh*

Nothing yet. We're going new car shopping soon but I have no idea what we'll get. So many choices...
