Question How to fix small rust spots

There's a couple very small spots on my rear fender that are starting to bubble up because of rust. What's the procedure for fixing these and having good looking paint when finished? Anyone have a link for a how-to?

if you are looking for professional painting, take it to a paint shop. but you can repair paint by sanding down the area, first. once you see the rust, use a small file to remove it. be sure to get all the rust off, because if you dont you will repeat this proceedure by this time next year. use primer to spray over the area, let dry, and sand it down with fine or ultrafine paper. to match the paint use the factory paint and spray on with a spray gun. to prevent overspray, tape off any area not being repaired. i would suggest covering the entire car except the area being repaired.

After you sand it down, use some of that stuff that turns the rust to black primer. If you don't kill all of the rust then it will come back and even if you think you got all of the rust off there could possibly be little specs of rust that you don't see.
