I can only think of one guy that successfully used the "resistor" method to solve this problem. Here is the link to the post

Apparently he used a 10 ohm resistor wired in a series connection. I'm surprised it's a problem with your '96. I put a SLP 98+ SS spoiler on my car, wired it straight up and never tripped any codes at all.!!???!!?? very strange

Question

I've heard of a resistor method and a relay method. The relay method will make a clicking noise every time you brake, BUT...with a relay being back in the rear of the car in a fender or something...will you really be able to hear it? I'm curious to know what relay works and how one would wire it all up.

Anyone?...
Anyone?...
Class?...
Anyone?
