Cool

Really easy:
-Buy cans of the spray-on die from like Autozone.
-Remove the seats.
-Tape off everything you don't want the die to get on.
-Spray at least 4-5 coats of the die on the areas you left un-taped.
-Give the die at least a day to dry.
That's it.Really not that complicated. You can check a few pics out in my sig.

That might have been my car you saw...Basically what he said. Just take your time when taping off, because even though you may think you got it right, you really didnt.

It took about me about 45 minutes a piece for the back SEATS taping them off, about 1.5 hours taping off the back seat BACK, and about 1-1.25 hours taping off the front seats. I did everything just as everyone had said too, and mine looked EXTREMELY AWESOME when I got done...but, even after letting them dry for a couple of days, the dye wore off, and I used the VHT stuff that others used. nikkev, did you have that problem? I think that White30th did...

Here are pics of my dyed seats: I used the VHT dye. Really simple to do. TAKE YOUR TIME.

Fred - been meaning to e-mail you back, just haven't had the time...I followed the directions that you sent via e-mail on how you did yours, and I did mine very similarly, but the die is wearing off nad fading...it even rubbed off on my clothes and such (but luckily it didn't stick to them either )...any ideas as to why? Like I said, I did as you did, and you have had good luck with yours...
I was just plum sick about it, but I've kind of gotten over it...I spent like 5 days on the whole project...but that's just my luck.

Unhappy

Sorry to hear that. I've had some slight fading on the drivers seat. Not much. Did you use Scotchgard? I really soaked mine with it. Don't know why it would be fading like that. Did you use the VHT brand of dye?

Yep, I used VHT, like 4 to 5 coats on each seat, then Scotchguarded them really good too, just like you mentioned. I put about three coats of Scotchguard on them I guess. (Tuitsui - sorry to be thread jacking somewhat here, but this is stuff you kind of need to know I guess.)

Cool

The only wear on mine is the driver's seat.It is fading "slightly" from me sitting in it all the time.I did let my seats dry for about a week though before I started using them. They were hard at first but they softened up the more I use them.

Depends on the color green. As for the feel, for about 2 days the seats had a crunchy feel to them, but after those couple of days the dye set in and feels like normal now.
