how does the spoiler come off?

how does the spoiler come off?
What needs to be done to take off the rear spoiler on the trunk lid? I would like to take it off before i paint it. I can probly get in there better with it off.....thanks

Very simple...
Just carefully pull down the inside plastic cover that is held on by plastic clips (they are reusable).
Then there are about 4 10mm (I think) bolts that screw into the spoiler - undo those and voila.

That's right. 4 10mm nuts and you're off. There is a connector for the third brakelight on the drivers side. All you need to do is pop the clip and you can remove it no trouble. Takes a few minutes to do. I had mine off today to wax underneath.
