Oh I am going to wrapped them in Carbon Fiber, which is why I need them off. Either regular black or Aluminized. I think I am 90% toward black.

 

you have to first remove the coat hanger mount, they have a clip in the center that can be pulled out with a small flat head. next remove both door sill panels, then pop off the rear panels, dont be afraid to tug on the panels they are tough and only held in by clips. once the panels are out the bolts can be removed with a star key tool

 

Crap! that's too much. I think I will just wrapped them while on the car, but I will have to take my time, still it will be 900% faster and easier than doing all that!

Dang, this is the info I was looking for, and the answer I was afraid to read. Removing those side panels will be an issue since I have an 8pt. Wolfe roll bar in there. I hope I can still get to it.....

 

this is only a half hour job at most from start to finish. I had no clue what i was doing by the way, but it went back together and still looks like it did before it was taken apart
