How do you get the hatch struts off?
Well, I am trying to figure out the part that is right above the rear seats. The part that touches the hatch itself is easy, they're just clippies that pop out. But the other end
Thanks
Oh I am going to wrapped them in Carbon Fiber, which is why I need them off. Either regular black or Aluminized. I think I am 90% toward black.

Thanks

you have to first remove the coat hanger mount, they have a clip in the center that can be pulled out with a small flat head. next remove both door sill panels, then pop off the rear panels, dont be afraid to tug on the panels they are tough and only held in by clips. once the panels are out the bolts can be removed with a star key tool

but thanks for the info, in case I have to really replace them, now I know how
