How do u remove headlights..?

I just got my smoke/clear corners in and i need an idea on how to install them. I did a search and read a few threads, some say installing it underneath the car is easy but some say removing the headlights is a lot easier. In clear details, How do u remove the headlights on a 98-02 camaro??

Romoving the headlights is actually quite easy. One bolt needs to be removed from the top portion of the headlight, but it will be upside down, screwwed in underneath. Once that one screw is out, all you have to do it slide the headlight so that the 2 plactic latches holding it in are free, then just wiggle it out. That is the easy part, unfortunately I tried to install my new clear corners about a week ago, and it was a disaster. I got all the screws holding htem in removed, but I couldn't manage to get the assembly out. You can take a look at the thread I posted which is about a week old and it is labeled Clear Corner Install. Let me know if you have better luck than me.

yep. for the headlight removal, just remove one bolt, which is centered in the top portion of the headlight assembly. it is a 10mm bolt. the lower section of the assembly is held in place by 2 slide-in fasteners, as described earlier. slide the assembly off and you're done.

for the parklight lenses, these are somewhat more difficult. first off, remove the connectors from the headlights and place the entire assembly off the vehicle. you will need a 7 mm to remove 3 screws for each park lense. 2 on each side and one that faces the ground in the middle. once these are removed, lift the lense up slightly. here's the tricky part. the outer edge of each lense will contact the bumper slightly. the bumper is plastic and will flex. just flex it some and the lense will squeak by the bumper and its done. then reverse the whole thing. have fun!
