Question How do I fix this?

On my glove box door I have a black scuff mark that will not come off. I have used the Armor All spray and the Turtle Wax cream. I have even considered buying a new door for the glove box. Is there anything that will get this off??? We are doing a complete renovation of our 1979 Z28. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

OK, I will try the WD-40. If that doesn't work, I'll try the carpet foam. Hey BlueLS1Z28, is there any carpet foam that you would reccommend? Thanks for the help!
