Hose covering/ wire loom stuff

Any body use this stuff to dress up their engine area? Like to cover the wires and hoses? If so what color would look good on a white black f body.

There's a guide to doing it on an LS1 engine, but it should be the same idea if you have an LT1 engine. I have a white car, and am planning on doing that sometime with red loom, which I think will probably look pretty good. Hope that helps!

Thansk I'll use that guide. I'm thinking of going with white though. It's not flashy but everyone that has looked at my car decided that adding a color to it would screw it up.

White will get dirty within 5 minutes

Why did you decide to put so much vinyl on your car ?

My neighbor's got a red 97 mustang, he's got the red wire loom, looked good at first. It's starting to look almost pink now. This has always held me back from doing this. You don't have this problem? Did he just buy cheap stuff?

Iwas thinking of white too

Maybe Check out http://www.installuniversity.com/ (Install Documents, Apperance) It's for the Ls1 but also lists estimation of wire loom size and length. Also has a website to purchase it from. Hope this helps
