hoods/rims...?

Hey guys, I posted a link earlier to the link to an SS hood, but from what I can gather its not really a real once, since its more V shaped than a ( ) type form....

heres a link to the site again,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33646

Does anyone know where I can get a real ss hood somewhere online for around $500 or so? Are there functional ones? If so, what does this mean? I need to get an airbox for it, or...? how much hsp will this add on my v6...? Will it take place of my intake that I have now, and how much is the airbox?

Also, as far as rims go, how come nobody really has flashy rims such as the ones in this link...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33748

I wanna get somethin real cool like that, but those dont look all that great... I want something chrome, but w/some weird pattern, like the tarantula ones or something, anyone know a good place to get these?

Also, I got a ticket for my tints, I had like 5% tint all around except for the windshield (obviously).... Should I leave the tint on the back ? or just take it off all 3 places? Im not sure if it will look good just in back...

thanks

I dont know about if the SS airbox and assembly will work with a V6, but as to the rims, nobody has rims like those because they are very ugly and tacky in my opinoin. For the tint, I've seen a lot of F-bodies with just the back tinted and they still look good. That's probably what I'll be doing on mine sometime soon.

i personally do not like those rims at all on a camaro. i think that they do not in any way go with the car. if you like them then more power to ya, but i would get a different type of wheel if i was you.

Good god those wheels are ugly! If you really want to be different, take a look at the truck scene. I used to have a tahoe laid out on 22's and the rim styles out for trucks are totally different then what we have for f-bodies. Look at boyd coddington wheels or even intro as they have various different styles to choose from. Those are both billet wheels and came be custom tailored to suit whatever offset/bolt pattern you need. Those arrelli wheels are probably 18x8 and i'd imagine a 245/45/18 would look awful.

There is an eclipse with those wheels right near me, are the more god awful ugly things I have ever seen. When ever I see him i just shake my head and wonder how much money went down the drain to finance that terrible decision.

I'd never thought someone would have the twisted mind to put them on a camaro

It's a muscle car man, runs on gasoline, not uncle ben's
