hood springs

I am getting a harwood hood soon and have some questions about the hood springs. Should I use SS hood springs or are there better springs to use. Thanks for any replies.

Springs? Are you talking the lifter struts, I think they should hopefully bolt to the new hood fairly easy.

my suncoast hood came with lighter hood struts. i would think that the harwood will too!

cool I haven't gotten the hood yet. I remember reading somewhere that you had to get lighter somethings or the hood could be warped.

I didn't get any struts with mine. Are you talking about the four in the front area. I'm only using one right now with my aftermarket hood.
