My hood is rattling on my 95 Z28. I traced it down to the glue that holds the inner skeleton(there are a bunch of broken globs). Has anyone else had this problem?
More info: I removed my heat shield, car has 103k. I pressed a buttload of silicone down where it was rattling and waiting for it to dry.

 

yeah i had that problem on my 90 bird, dang hood just kept comming more and more apart, i just went to the junkyard though and got me another hood.

 

yea I would say just go get a new hood from a junkyard or ebay.
