I am planning on buying a ram air hood in the near future. I want the hood that looks just like the ws6 from the factory. I think from what I have seen its the ascd hood. I was wondering if the hood is just looks or if you can have it functional with my stock trans am air box that I plan on getting someone to raise up with washers for me. I dont not want a hood that uses the type of system like the 97's and before where it just seals the hood and airbox together. I want the induction to be like a ws6.

Are there any after market hoods out there that the ram air is just like the ws6 ram air that you get from the factory? What would be required to be done to the ascd hood to make it functional? And also right now the nostrials on the front are bloacked off or do they let cool ait in?
