Hood pins?? Yeah or Nay?? (LS1 Z28)

I've been throwing around the idea of getting hood pins... Dunno why..

I saw a newer stock Stang on base with them and my immediate thought was "IT'S STOCK YOU IDIOT!! It's NOT THAT fast!!"

Half of me is saying it's a little ricey, but the other half is concerned about my hood at 120+ mph..

Yours is worthy of it. I am getting some after I have my engine built by next year.

Nay, unless your hood is flimsy enough to need them.

I have a flimsy hood and so far it has been good. Always on the highway doin 120-130 kms. It shakes but every fiberglass hood shakes at that speed.

I didn't care for the fit of the latch had problems adjusting it and decided to ditch it for weight savings. The car needs a little touch up and next year it's getting a pin on that goes to the windshield.

i did mine becuase my fiberglass hood was just retarded and needed 6inches of shims to make the latch work. but they work well and i love the look.
