I saw that hood last week, I'm waiting for them to release a 93-97 version. It looks bad *** IMO. It will help keep my car cooler, it over heats like crazy in the summer.

 

i doubt i'd buy it, but id like to see it on a car

 

I'll have to wait to pass judgement until I see it on a Camaro.

 

It's pretty cool, definitely something I haven't seen before. I think I would like it better if it had either just the front scoop, or just the extractors. Both of them is a little too much.

 

oddly enough i dont like it even tho it may flow better with my body kit. i think the scoop overdid it. it would look alot better with just the extractors and no scoop

 

I've heard some folks on other sites calling it rice simply because it resembles a hood for the rx-7s but cmon, its something different and really dont look that bad.

I'm wanting to see one on a car though, maybe my opinion will change.

 

Well it does look like something you would find on a supra, or rx7. Kinda curious to see what it would look like on a camaro though

 

It's directly based off a hood made for RX-7s, but who cares? RX-7s are/were badass sports cars and are more like mini-Vipers than rice... unless they are riced out.

 

that hood is nothing but NASTY, i wish they made one for a 3rd gen.

 

I'd rock it, if I lived in Gotham City ...actually not to bad except for the scoop which I think is overkill.

 

it's not exactly the hood I wanted but it's the closest Ive seen. Biggest problem I see with that hood on a LT1 is there is no way the lines will flow. It almost seems like the missed the mark on the LS1. The one on the AC Super car would be perfect on a LT1 car but the deeper I looked into it the more it seemed very unpratical for street use but the design I'm sure serves it's purpose well for the extended track time it see's.

 

its kinda like the mecham hood with the extractor ports and the scoop, for about 1/4 the cost
