Hood Latch Keeper Part #?
Hey all, I'm looking for the replacement part number for the part that keeps the hood latched down. Not the actual latch but the U-shaped keeper that is on the hood itself.
Its the part held on with 2 bolts, U-shaped, that holds the hood down. One half of the "U" on my hood is broken and I'd rather not have my hood flying off along the highway. Thanks guys.

If you do a search on google, you might be able to find the Camaro parts manual that is in PDF form and several hundred pages long. You should be able to download it from somewhere.

The part number for the "striker" is 16629012 in the Camaro parts guide.
According to parts.com, the number is also good for 1993-2002 Firebirds without the Ram-Air hood.
Parts.com shows a price of $19.91 for the part.
