I want to put the hood insulation back into my Camaro, but I can't find it anywhere, and the dealer says that it's discontinued.
Is there anywhere that I can get it, or is there something that may work better?

 

The Chevy dealership was the ONLY place that I was able to purchase my new hood insulator. I bought mine 2 months ago. ($107.00ea ) I did check EVERYWHERE & NO ONE out there has them or like you said they are discontinued. Good luck & If I were you, I would check more dealerships!

 

I work at one, and they can't get one, and no other dealers have one either. Looks like I'm out of luck.
I did find that Dynamat makes a hood liner, but I wanted to go with the factory style.

 

WOW, If you work at a dealership yourself & they can't get one for you, then I dont know what else to tell you besides good luck in your search. Maybe up here in Michigan I got lucky & was able to buy one thats been sitting around for years in the back of a warehouse.

 

I know, it's nuts! Thanks though, I want to keep looking. Dynamat wouldn't be bad, but I don't want to have ot put it on there if I can help it.
