hood

what is the best place to buy a new or good used ss hood?? my mom has a v6 camaro and just hit a deer and i am going to give her the hood off my car and going to buy an ss hood for my car. cheep they are only going to give her the amount for the regular hood and i will pay the diff. please help asap

If they are going to pay for the amount of a brand new GM hood, then you are going to have about 600 bucks to spend.

When someone backed into me, I got the reciept and a brand new oem hood was 600 something. Charged to insurance along with other things...

Yeah thats the good thing about having a factory hood if you get in a wreck, they are usually a LOT more expensive than an aftermarket hood.
