has anyone ever seen, or tried one of these? I was thinking about getting one when I have my car painted. I think it would make the car look smoother, and hopefully it gets better reception than my current antenna. I wasn't sure who makes them or how much they were.

 

I've read that they don't work quite as well, but for the novice user they won't notice the difference.

I personally would like to install a power antennae.
