Or just buy some LEDs, and some Perf board, and make your own... that's all he's doing. Cut perf board, some wire, LEDs, and resistors... He's just painting the boards black...

www.ebay.com

gotta have a soldering iron you can get from radioshack, and some solder and flux.

Should be fairly easy for the typical DIYer; do a search on Google for "DIY circuit boards", basic soldering, etc.

I like how the site for Trans Ams say the reverse lights are "Trans Am specific". I didn't know the Trans Ams got special tail lights....

Edit: And why does the red led interior LED kit cost $20 more than the white/green/blue?

Red LED's are more expensive to make. But they dont cost $20 more to make rofl. How many LED's are in the kit 1,000?

Unless times have changed recently, Blue LED's were the most expensive to manufacture. And Red was the first color to come out more than 25 years ago. When Blue came out, they were anywhere from $3-$10 each. Today, depending on where you buy from, all colors, including Red and Blue, are typically the same price and dirt cheap. My guess on the higher price for the Red is based on popularity; unless the guy had to do more work with the Red for some reason.

I'll be damned, he is doing perf board and painting it black. I need to get off my rear and get something going... I can at least offer real circuit boards! Save yourself the $$$ and learn how to do the mods yourself. Of course, you can't fault him for trying to make a buck either.

haha LMAO at these prices!

his price for a Firebird rear light is $52 without the flasher hahaha

the E-Bay total is... (drumroll please)

under $40 while I looked for about 3 minutes.

He describes those bulbs he sells as "wedge based" well I certainly hope not! the rear lights in a firebird are 2057s which are cylinder based.

To everyone else, show off you have made I love new ideas.

My favorite thing that I have made are LED foglights
