Think about this however:
The 335/35/17 is only going to be .2" wider on an 11" rim than a 315/35/17 on the same rim.
Take a Michelin Pilot Sport tire for instance:
315/35/17 = 12.6" Section Width, measured on an 11" rim
335/35/17 = 13.4" Section Width, measured on a 12" rim, but you have to subtract .2" of section width for every 1/2" less rim width than it was measured on, so you get 13.2" - .4" = 12.8"
You effectively get only .2" wider when going from a 315/35/17 to a 335/35/17 on the same 11" rim, because the sidewall is squeezed in more. Basically this is only .1" per edge on your tire, which is approx 3/32", or 2-3mm if you are a metric person.
If you are currently running 315/35/17 tires, getting the 335/35/17's to fit should be a piece of cake if you aren't rubbing already. You might have to hammer in your inner fender a tiny bit, but that should be it. You are only having to make clearance for 1/2 of the additional section width of the tire, which is 3/32" (2-3mm.)
