Help - Rear Bumper Sag

I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, or might have some insight on how to fix.

My rear bumper cover has sagged so that the seam between the bumper cover and the rear fender increases from a normal tight fit to about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap at the rearmost point.

I have read that the bumper is supported by a bunch of clips of some sort, but I havent really gotten under there and checked it out.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

chances are those clips came out. its been awhile since i took one off but i though it was 10 mm bolts and if the holes in ur bumper are ripped, you will need to epoxy the holes back into it. you shouldnt have to repaint them because u wont be able to see them from out side of the car. but i would suggest looking underthere befor you ask for help because unless you know whats wrong, you cant fix it.

I'll see what I can see when I get under there, but I was just wondering if it was a common problem. Thanks.
