help ASAP, removing LS1 grille

help ASAP, removing LS1 grille

my friend has his car over, working on it a little and just wondering how do you take off the stock plastic grill on an LS1 car? i cant seem to find anything to unbolt or anything but i know theres something i just dont know about... thanks

start your way from the sides. Pull that baby hard! Youll see that the plastic Rivets. Get a flat head and pry them out while you or your buddy pull the plastic. Thats how I did mine I dont know if there is an easier way

one of my friends just pulled until the tabs broke...don't do that if you plan on putting the grill back

The reason I said pry them out with a flathead is because if you pull until the rivets break you might run the chance of your bumper paint spyderwebbing. Its tough. Just take your time observe and pry the rivets off.

haha, i figured it out actually. its on there pretty good for an item that just "snaps" into place.lol. thanks guys.
