2 pair of Hella FF75 Driving lights from Ebay seller offroad911, he might not have the lowest price but his free shipping more than makes up for it. Other than that, they come with wire harness and a relay.

Is this mod reversible? If not, is there any way to make it reversible?

There are a few ways to do it. The only install page I can find I think was the nonreversable. But I would really like to see some information on specific mounting techniques.

I looked at his auction, and by looking at the mounting brackets in the pics it looks to be straight-forward. I guess I wouldn't need the wiring harness except for the connectors and just splice them in to the existing wiring harness.

Anyone know off-hand what wattage rating the stock bulbs are? If they're less than 55 watts, I might wanna put some larger gauge wiring in there.

I just might do this mod as a small X-mas present for myself.

Hey Saint you got any close-ups of how you mounted the lights? Did you use the mounting brackets supplied in the kit?

And, realistically, do they shine FARTHER than the stock High beams? Do the plastic housings feel durable or fairly cheap?

Stocks are 55w. Everyone has recommended you use the harness if you plan on using only the stock Hella bulbs, but if you want to transplant ones later of higher wattage, go with a 30w relay.

I hope the install is straight foward, I am doing it tomorrow, I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Realistically they are better than the stock lights for a few reasons. First the housing is designed to cast out and reflect the light better and further. Second the bulbs are of better quality. Many people have changed out the bulbs many times and end up putting the stock Hella 55w's back in. They have a good long life and shine about the same color.

Hey Dustin, did you finish this install already? Would you mind sending any info over? I want to do this also but kinda need some guidance. I am not all that advanced to figure it out on my own. But with instructions I can do just about anything. Thanks in advance!!

I am done already, I am going to write a full install page soon. Until then search down the current link to the install page I used. Wraiths I think.
