headliner

ok i have a chance to get my old 97 SS back from a friend who is going to be selling it.. it needs a headliner as the old one was ripped out cuz of it sagging. there is no board or anything to get recovered, and i cant find anywhere to get a new one.. the problem is that this isnt a ttop car, so does anybody know where to get a new headliner for a hardtop?

Might be pricey (read: will be pricey) but try the dealership if you want a brand new board. Otherwise, grab one from a junkyard and have it reupholstered. Plan on ~100 bucks for the upholstery job.

The best and cheapest thing to do would be looking around in the FS section. Than theres ebay and your local yards. If you want one new i would go gm parts direct or Year One.
Really just find one used. Your almost going to die laughing when you hear what they go for new. I just have a hunch it will be rediclous. Good ole GM

yeah all i could find on gm parts direct was a ttop one for like 120, but they list out at around 350 or so, which is what the dealership charges...so i wanna avoid the dealership if possible... thanks for the info guys

Don't forget if your order one online shipping can be from $30 - $70 !
I've bought a few things though Ecklers before and they have headliners.

Here's another site , but I have not done business with them before.
