Headlight Question?
#2
The guy who did this project modified it to fit the LT1 bucket. The pics were originally pulled from the following: HERE. Unfortunately, the pics don't go in to any great detail on how he modified everything to fit. A writeup would have been nice. This same topic has been discussed in another thread here, on LTXtech, and LS1tech. I didn't follow them the whole time, but there might be some hints in one of them if you feel like trying it.

If you could make them fit in there without permanently destroying them factory setup I would possibly consider doing this. I'm a fan of zip ties as well, as long as it hold and doesnt vibrate over every bump it works for me.

With zip ties its harder to get them to stay in place and not move...i can imagine that if they are in fact zip-tied in then they must move a little- plus it sucks having to cut 10 zip ties eveytime you need to change a bulb out or move them for one reason or another.
And being projector any vibration or movement is going to be really noticable on the road...
I thought about using LS1 headlights but didn't think they would fit in the LT1 bucket and look like the factory put them there....The inside corner might match the inner bucket profile but the outer corner wouldn't match without some work...I would want them to look good with the hood closed and with the hood open as well.
