Is it possible to "easily" remove the outer shell or lens cover to gain access to the area surrounding the bulbs? The reason I am asking is because I want to paint the area around the bulbs/reflectors the same color as the car. The outer, clear plastic lens cover seems to be sealed very well and I don't want to force it too much and screw it up.

 

i don't believe that it is separable. I just took mine completely apart to get a piece that broken off and replace and from what I saw it cannot be separated. just don't break anything if you try it cause the piece that adjusts it cannot be bought separately. you can only buy it with the whole light. ticked me off
