This one is just the figment of someone's photochopping, but it's a good job and actually looks nice on the car.

That doesn't look bad, but I prefer this. I can't remember where I got this picture, but I know there's a company that actually makes the WS6 hood for the Camaros (so it's not Photoshopped). It looks different, but I like it. The SS hood on the T/A though, doesn't look as good IMO.

i was bored this week, so i took a late 70's camaro hood scoop and attached it to my old (left over) 94 trans am hood.
the camaro scoop looks just like a SS scoop. everything is well, i'll take pictures of it asap.I'm just getting ready to smooth things out and paint.

Yep Pete, there is an actual company that makes those hoods for the camaro as well. I've seen it in some magazine but I can't remember what its called. They also have a ram air style hood like that for trucks...looks VERY awkward...That camaro with the hood actually doesn't look too bad, however I would still prefer the SS hood on it. Now, as for the SS hood on the trans am...um...no I wouldn't do that...hehe

It is JSears' car, he did the photochop and posted on LS1Tech.com FWIW... I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share.
IMO it does look a little busy with the 2 nostrils up front, but doesn't look bad at all.
The WS6 Camaro hood makes the car look like it has swollen sinuses!
I am leaning towards VFN's new 3" SS scoop or their new "modern" cowl design if they ever get on the ball with it.
