Here's a website that gives pretty good info:

This guy doesn't have any "how-to" but give you some pics of it after he finished his conversion

If I had the proper place to do this I would.

I'll be going to some local body shops and get and estimate.. Has anyone got a price yet just for labor?

... I'm curious, are the '93s precut for T-tops also? Even though they only came from the factory with hardtops?

Mystic Teal 95 V6 - 93's did come with T-Tops. They made only coupes in 93, no convertibles. T-Tops were available all during the year, but only about 1/3 of the F-Bods produced that year had them installed from the factory. Everything is the same for the install on the 93 as is for the 94+.

If anyone has their roof that they cut off and its in good shape, I'd be interested in it. It can be cut down the middle (from front to rear) to make shipping easier/cheaper.

Sweet, thanks for the info! Here for all these years I'd always thought they were only hardtop's. I could've sworn I read that stat on a website and to boot I've never seen a T-top '93

Thanks again.

I wish it was so easy for the 3rd gens as it is for the 4th It sucks having to cut the roof off of a t'top car and cut your hardtop roof off and then welding on the t'top roof. PITA

a shop down here is going to use to my car as a guinea pig so ill have mine done in a month when i get all the parts. there going to be cool and not charge me and help me out. if all works well they said they will charge 200 just for the body work and you put the kit in which i think is the eaisest. ill be taking short 2 min mpegs of each step that hopefully i can get some one to host to make the process easier. see how it goes
