Half Lt1 Half Ls1 Nose

I have a 97 camaro, but I like the front end of ls1 camaros especially the ones with Xenon body kit and Wing West front grille. I'm planning to make a front end with upper section of Lt1 front end and down section of ls1 front end. By this way I'm planning to use both WW grille and Xenon body kit on a lt1.

Any suggestions for a kit like that or ideas to fabricate a front end by using junkyard parts will be very helpful for me.

it's going to be a b!tch to do
unless you're a good fabricator I wouldn't recommend to do it on your own. but if you do it - at the end it might actualy look good
btw. welcome abord

Go for it I was gonna try it but I didn't want to spend money on something I wasn't gonna keep

You can get a plastic welder from this site

www.eastwoodcompany.com I don't think it's on the site but I ordered a catalog and it was in there

You can weld abs with it If you try it just remember to brace the joint where you put the top and bottom together

This sounds awesome..

It sounds like what street rodders used to do.. Chopping tops and doing other real fabricating..

Plastics seem to scare so many people. If you want to be unique and not "just another camaro with bolt/tape on's", you gotta work for it.

Take lots of pictures and keep us informed!!

Actually I have two pictures of a front end kit like that but I couldn't remember from where I downloaded them. They look like pictures of a prototype from Stella.

If someone advice me on adding pictures to this message I can post them here. As far as I understand I have to put the pictures in another webpage and link its address here.

I can host your image files if you like.. (This goes for anyone)

Just go here: http://www.technologyorgasm.com/upload/

When you are there, select your file, press "Upload" and wait for the link/info it gives you

That page only accepts gif & jpg file types...

There is a 5Mb file size limit.. Anything over that for an image is ridiculous..

Sorry for the bad coding.. I made an "uploads" folder and copied the images, but for future refrence, it will be:
http://www.technologyorgasm.com/upload/stella3_034.jpg
and
http://www.technologyorgasm.com/upload/stella3_012.jpg

I did fix the code after I realized I screwed it up..
If you want, edit your links to reflect the original link. (What's at the top of this post..)

Now back to my normal mode..

I'm not sure about the "clear w/painted round opening" covers, but I can imagin it without the covers, and I love it!!

That would be the best looking evar!

Time to go to the junkyard and get two nose pieces, and then buy this... http://www.eastwoodcompany.com/itemd...I1.x=9&I1.y=46

It would be better with Xenon and WW kits. Could anyone help me transfering the ls1 nose to the red SS by using photoshop in the following picture

Here's one..

I'm no pro, but it would be nicer to have a shot of the red SS at the right angles..
