How do they plug into your stock harness?

They don't. You have to splice a new harness end onto your old harness like this or use a better complete harness that has the H7 ends already on it (like the harness that comes with FF75's.

I see. When ordering the FF75's from rally lights.com you have the option to upgrade the bulbs listed below. Is there anything stopping me from ordering the best bulb they have for these or should I stick with the ones that come with it?

HL78175 H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W, each $9.01

CP64217 H7 Bulb, 12V, 65W, H9 Burner, 2100 Lumins by Osram, each $23.15

HL78174 H7 Bulb, 12V, 100W, each $13.02

HL78119 H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W, XENON Premium +50%, each $14.25

HL83800 H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W XENON +100% Hella High Performance, per Pair
This is a new product and is not available yet
$29.52

HL83810 H7 Bulb, 12V, 100W XENON +100%
Hella High Performance, per Pair
This is a new product and is not available yet
$29.52

HL88970S H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W Optilux XENON +100% XP, each $12.00

HL88971S H7 Bulb, 12V, 100W Optilux XENON +100% XB, each $12.00

Re: H7 bulbs

From looking at their listings, you can't go wrong with what comes with the FF75s or any of the NON coated bulbs they list for replacements either. Even the lower rated 1500 lumen bulbs are about 2x what a Silverstar puts out, so you can't lose there and at 3000K color, just perfect.

You'd need to upgrade the harness for the 100w bulbs, though.

HL78175 H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W, each $9.01
CP64217 H7 Bulb, 12V, 65W, H9 Burner, 2100 Lumins by Osram, each $23.15HL78174 H7 Bulb, 12V, 100W, each $13.02

^^^These are plenty good for your application.

Re: H7 bulbs

Rallylights.com is a good source, but you might want to check eBay too.

The bulbs that come in the FF75's are fine. I have them in mine now after trying about 20 different bulbs. They are sufficient. And they will outlast any other bulb out there.

If you want output...go to lightingresearch.com and get some 100w Luks.

If you want whiter color, get the white Optilux 100w. They are made by Hella's Indonesia plant. Not as good quality, but decent. And a good price.

I'd just try what came in it for now though.

Save yourself the trouble and go ahead and just use the complete Hella harness all the way up to your factory switch.

Or, if you are stubborn, and don't wanna do that, then at least put a 30a relay in line with the highs and lows so you can run higher watts safely (at least more safe).

With the Hella harness that comes in the box or a 30a relay, you don't need to upgrade the harness.

Re: H7 bulbs

Nobody replied in time so this is what I ordered:
4 FF75 driving lights
1 set of H7 Bulb, 12V, 65W, H9 Burner, 2100 Lumins by Osram for the Highbeems
1 set of H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W XENON +100% Hella High Performance for the low beems
1 FF75 fog lights
1 set of H7 Bulb, 12V, 55W XENON +100% Hella High Performance for the fog lights

What do you think?

Sounds like you will have a heck of a setup.
Osram/Sylvania is a good bulbs as well, so you can't go wrong there.

And IMO Hella is top notch, so you did excellent with that.
The only thing that might not suit you is there is a possibility I suppose of the highs/lows being a different color since you are using different bulbs...but that's no biggie. Not too often you use them both anyhow.

You did good.
Please be sure and post some pics when you get done, I'd like to see it.
A full FF75 setup looks nice.

Thanks alot, I really look foward to getting these on. Nobody here that Ive seen on the island has done this so it should be unique

On another note, this may be a odd question but could 4 lights fit on the same side meaning one mounted rightside up and the other mounted upside down so it would king look like 2 solid lights? Once they come in Im going to try it to see if it fits like that. I think it would give it a solid look, would look square kinda. With that question would it be possible to plug in 2 driver lights to the same side harness? Would it be to much of a drain? Thanks for all the great advise

I don't think there is anyway to get them in all in one side.
There also is no need. Here is a close up of one in the opening.

There would be no way to fit another in there with it.

These things don't really have a top and a bottom as well. You just put the bracket on whichever way you need to to make it fit.

If you'll look in that link I gave earlier - I have all the formulas listed and a lot of info on how much wattage you can draw safely. Although - like I said, you won't need it.

With one set of FF75's on each side, and a set of Fog's, you'll be plenty set. Trust me.

And remember - just use the harnesses that come with all your lights - they are much better than factory, and already have relays wire into them. You can hide the relays in several spots under your hood. Then just splice the Hella harness into the factory switch wiring.

Re: H7 bulbs

does anyone know where to get the harness for 100watt ones? and if i get all hella ff75s (all headlamps/fogs) are the stock bulbs bright enough to see the whole road (even with smoked headlamp covers)? would i notice much of a difference with the clear 100 watt hi and 80 watt low and 100 watt fogs from luks?

The harness that comes with the FF75's is plenty enough for 100w. It is plenty enough for 150w.

With smoked covers, I would definately get some Luks bulbs. The stock ones are just fine without a cover, but with, you need something more. A cover is really going to kill lighting for you though.

Re: H7 bulbs

The guy at Rallylights said you couldnt use 100w bulbs with the FF75's. Once mine are installed Ill see if (barring it can be done) I can get some 100+'s for the brights and the fogs.

Yeah the Hellas say to only use 55w bulbs with them in the instructions. I asked if anyone was having problems with using bigger bulbs and everyone said no to use 100watt bulbs.
