ground fx

i have the wings west kit on my car and im having a problem with the rear lip peice. the car sat this winter and at some point it fell off. its not completly off just the middle part, the double sided tape that was provided with them it didnt hold. anyone have a solution for this? thanx in advance

if you can find some double-sided adhesive foam weatherstripping i'm pretty sure that would help you out. I worked with that stuff recently and man it really sticks.

Just go up to home depot or lowes and look at their adhesives.

ya i was thinking about using contact cement but fear putting that **** on the paint. im gonna ask a few ricers see what they are using.

That happened on my LT1 as well, I used self tapping screw's and they worked great.

Just take some screws and screw them in, that is what we did on a friend of mines SS side skirts and rear clip so they would stay on. It does help if your car is black because you can get black screws. If not you can fill the holes with fiberglass and have a paint shop touch it up, but you will never get the ground effects off.

If you go to napa or most other parts stores get molding tape. It is like rubber double sided tape. This is what holds all your moldings on. You can also use screws on the inside where you don't see them.
