Ground effects repair - Please help!

The ground effects on the passenger side of the car are coming off. They look like they were glued on in the middle, and perhaps screwed on each end (the side panel running between the front and rear wheels.) All the rest of the way around the car seems to be OK, but for some reason, the right side is no longer glued (or whatever) onto the car.

Can you tell me if there is an easy way to get this back on? One that will actually hold on?

Thanks in advance!

Most people I've heard that have that problem just add more screws to it.

If you want to replace the adhesive you will have to take the side completely off and clean all the old glue off and reglue or double side tape it back on.

I'm sure someone that has had this problem first hand will chime in and can go into more detail for you if needed.

By the way welcome to the site

Re: Ground effects repair - Please help!

Thanks! I've moved over from http://www.rx7club.com because I had a 1st gen '7 but now I've upgraded to this beast I have now... (I still miss my rotary though. )

Yeah, I thought about using some really strong black velcro, but the only problem with that that I can think of (as you might too) is this damn Texas heat! Granted it would be from one end to the other and that might help too, but still....

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.... and anyone else's would be great too!
