Ground effects falling off, how to reattach?

I have a Wings West GFX kit on my Camaro, and some of the 3M double sided tape on the back of the car has decided to let go. The kit is held in place by screws at the ends, so it hasn't fallen off, but it looks like crap with a big space in between the GFX and the body.

What should I use to reattach the kit to the car? More 3M tape or is there some other stuff?

I would pull the entire part off, clean away all that old 3M tape and go to your local body shop supply store. Get some new double side tape or emblem adhesive and put it back on. Make sure you clean both surfaces thoroughly with alcohol first. Unfortunately, that double sided tape is about the best way to go. Liquid adhesives ooze out and get real nasty.

Yeah I've heard that about liquid stuff.

Oh well time to get more 3M tape.

Not for everyone, but I don't think screws look that bad. If properly done!!!

The only way it would look good is to counter sink them and then fill in over top of them. That's not exactly an economical way to go about it though.
