Ground effects - cheap?

I am looking to a body kit for a 98 V6 Camaro, debating b/t the xenon package and the RK sport packages. I want a little lower and more aggressive look but not something too "rice" if you know what i mean. Are there any other packages that anyone recomends? Also does anyone know anyplace in particular that sells them at a good price. I have tried ebay and classifieds on forums to try and pick up a used set but there seems to be little resale of these items.

The paint will cost much more than the kit. For reference, my Xenon front was about $225 shipped and cost $340 to get painted and installed. That's JUST for the front.

I have Wings West on my Camaro. My only advice is NOT to order from Andy's Auto Sport. I never recieved anything after I ordered from them and waited three months to dispute the charges on my credit card. Got to the point I called multiple times a week and they always had excuses that they would ship my gfx soon but it never happened..

Thanks for the heads up, I was actually contemplating putting in an order with Andy's Auto Sport but I guess I'll look around somewhere else

I can't tell from pictures on the web and haven't seen any in person, it looks like the Xenon front consist of two seperate splitters or am i mistaken and is it a one piece front end. I will be lucky for painting, a have a friend whose dad owns a body shop and will paint for a very reasonable amount.

Re: Ground effects - cheap?

The Xenon front is one big piece that goes over the bumper. I was surprised as hell when I found that out.

Re: Ground effects - cheap?

You cant get any better than the OE RS kit. I would search for a set of them. They have the best look/fit out of all everything.

Re: Ground effects - cheap?

maybe i'll think twice if the xenon kit is a cover for the bumper. I think i'd prefer just a lip, thanks for the info. Anyone know if the OEM RS kit for 98-02 is available only from dealers (apart from take-offs) or is there any other place to get them, other than checking ebay.

Re: Ground effects - cheap?

I got my complete RS kit from a member at ls1tech.com for $200. They're out there you just have to be paitent. The kit is a fortune if you order it from the dealer.
