Grille install

For Christmas, I got a grille. But the instructions weren't very good with it and all I got with it were 2 screws and 2 clip things... Could someone please point me to online instructions or explain to me...

Also, I had just sat it in place and It didn't seem like the ends were right, like the top was to short. And also it wasn't bent enough...

Help please?

-thanks

Re: Grille install

none of them line up right on the 93-97, and all you do is screw it to the bumper, worst mod I ever did, took it off after 3 days.

Ok. I really like the look, but not how the ends look.

What are the clips for then?

Re: Grille install

The one I had came with zip-ties to hold it on. I ended up having to take one of the clips out of the fog light and running the zip tie through that to hold it. It worked, but didn't hold it tight. The fit was shoddy at best and ended up scratching the sides of the bumper.

Post some pics of the clips- might be better able to help.

Re: Grille install

I figured it out, I had to get to the backside of the bumper. I then held the grille in place and drilled 2 little holes, I put the drill bit threw to get the clips on the right place. Then i put the grille back on it and screwed the screws in and made sir they hit the clips so that it sandwitches the grille area and is help on that way, not just screws into the grille. It looks nice, and the ends lined up better.
