Grill with Old School Z28 Emblem

I am putting a grill (from GrillGuy) on my 1997 Silver Z28, and have two 1969 Z/28 emblems. I plan to put one of those on front and one on back.
Is the concensus to put the front emblem offset on the drivers side, or center it in the grill?

The one on back, I plan to replace the stock emblem with the old emblem

I do have the rest of the original set of Z28/Camaro emblems on E-bay item 170002958115

Thanks for the advice guys,

I would say center it in the grill to make it look even. Also, are you planning on keeping the ones on the side there or replacing them? Either way, I think it would look good.

I think I'm going to leave the ones on the side at they are. So I'm selling the rest of the set.
I think centered does look better too, seems some were thinking it should be offset (like was done originally on the old cars). When I do that though, it just doesn't look right to me.

I'm not a fan of the old school emblems on 4th gens, but if you do it, do it with a complete set.....don't leave the two on the sides as 4th gen emblems and just replace the other two. I think that'd look kinda funny.

I think you have to offset it and use the whole set.
My thought is to join the heritage of the 1st gen into the 4th gen.

Like I said, I'm not a huge fan, but if I had to choose I'd pick it being offset......looks great that way.

Re: Grill with Old School Z28 Emblem

Thanks guys, I'm going to try to get this mounted (front grill with emblem) tomorrow. Will post pics if I do.

Question, I'm thinking now that I'll use the whole set of emblems, on the sides also. How do you mount those? They have studs, do I actually punch holes in my car? Or cut them off and use a two sided tape?

Re: Grill with Old School Z28 Emblem

I cut the studs off the side and rear and used two sided 3 m auto tape. I cut down the front and after a little shaving of a hole inserted it through the grill and used the caps.

Re: Grill with Old School Z28 Emblem

It's actually www.grilleguy.com I've still not got it permanently mounted, Just experimenting with how I want to do the logo, but I think it's going to be pretty nice. They have grills for just about any vehicle it seems.
