i don't mind trying to keep it clean as i enjoy washing it but like i said i'm bored (i've had it since nov.2001) so we'll see i'm going to get some quotes soon.
Re: gray?
I think you should paint it somewhere between a very dark grey and a black pearl that has silver in it. I was dead set on that color with mine, but the paint on my 95 silver Z was pretty much flawless as it was, so I could never bring myself to spend the $ on having it re-painted. But I am stuck on how awesome a color that would be. Just my 2 cents.
Re: gray?
The Ferrari color you are looking for is called Grigio Silverstone, made by Glasurit.

Just a follow up,
Not to burst your bubble, but trying to get Grigio Silverstone mixed by Glasurit will cost you much more than you are probably wanting to pay.
As an alternative, BASF (Glasurit's new parent company) has a line of specialty paints and their charcoal pearl looks really close to the Grigio Silverstone. BASF's non-oem paint line is in the link below.

If you like shooting your own paint, the carizzmacolor line is really friendly. Of course it's all in the prep, but their "EZ candy" is the easiest candy effect I've ever sprayed. Their pearls and metallics are nice as well, they go on light so more coats are required for coverage, but they crosslink and flash consistantly. Light coats are cool for pearls and especially high solid metallics. Much more forgiving.... Probably more info than you were looking for, sorry for going on.
