Just pay the ticket. It's not worth it to have to drive with a front plate there so ugly on out cars. I mounted mine on my front air dam works great.

i dont know about CA, but in Ohio i got busted for no front plate. i just got a warning, but now i just sit my plate in my front dash. it looks bad but its better than mounting it up front on my car. i havent had any trouble with the law since.

I've never heard of that law before but it sounds like the dumbest law in the books. We dont have to do that in Michigan.

I've got mine in the air dam as well... Works pretty slick. Plan on seeing everybody in town copy you after you do it too...

I kept my front plate IN the car, under the passenger seat. When I got pulled over (which happened more than once ), I put the plate in the windshield (REALLY fast), and told the cop I couldn't decide how/where/if I wanted to mount it. No tickets

I don’t know about other states, but in NY they can give you a ticket even if the plate is in the windshield. It’s called obstruction of plate.

Cost me $80

Clip a little off the bottom and put it on the air dam.

Edit: The above is not my car

I'd rather pay the ticket! If I only get 1 ticket per year, I'll just consider it as a players fee, same thing goes for blacked out windows, (5% tint on my car). I've had a few officers in the past mention something to me about not having a front plate, but I would always say that there is no way that I'm going to hack up the front end of my car, a front plate would kill the lines. The officers that I usually come into contact with are pretty cool if you don't try to flex with a nasty attitude, and I never got a ticket in my TA for that violation, just a warning.

I got the plate and bracket on my car, and I can't stand it. The only reason I really put it on there is that it makes my car look better. The last guy that had my baby drilled seven ****ing holes in the front, damn dyslexic bastards!!!!! O well....I guess I could get over it...but this is also the freak that put door hinge on the center console box! I should sue this freak for defacing an American monument...damn wisconsin people!!!

I've got mine mounted onto the Front Air Damn, looks good there, I just did it to avoid getting sh*t from the cops, I've already got too much on my license.

Cool

Over here in Denmark we have cameras on the road filming us when we're speeding. We don't get pulled over, just a letter with a picture of us driving, and a fine. That has led to a lot of focus on having front plates on.

I of course have a plate on, but instead of messing up the car, I bent and modified the plate to fit the car. I can get a picture if this helps anyone, it's a different size than your's
