Well as many of you know i have been looking for a oem ss hood for some time now and i finally found one on ebay and won it about 5mins ago...........im just glad i found it and didnt have to buy a aftermarket well anyway just though i should let you guys know......i'll have pics up as soon as i get it painted

congrats !!!! I know from personal experience just how hard they are to find. I finally got mine painted and installed on my car and it does look good! (if I do say so myself) pics in the sig

 

good job man, I hope it turns out well..... I have an aftermarket hood I picked up from some1, its from ASCD, s-600 SS hood... they usually have a good fit, but mine seems a bit off on the space between the hood and right front fender, at the edge over the head light. also the front doesnt seem to close flat b/c its pressing against something under there, I dunno, maybe my STB cuz its the non SS model...I'll try to remove the STB and see if it closes correctly...I hope a body shop can fix the alignment issue.
