You and me both. Ive been out of town for 9 days, and Ive had friends call and tell me how its going. Hes spent the last 6 days wet sanding the primer. They said its so smooth and shiny you can shave off the reflection in the primer coat... hahaha.
Ill be flying back in late tomorrow, and will see him and the car Monday. Ill take some more pics and get them uploaded.

March, April, May, June, and July... of which the second half of March, all of April and June dont count... because he and I discussed him being gone for fishing... so 2 1/2 months is a far cry from 12. Also the fact im basicially getting a $10K paint job for less then half that means he is allowed to have the car a little longer.
Its almost impossible to pull the pearl out in the pictures. That and its sitting inside and not with the sun shining on it.
The final bill to the painter has been paid. His is only the materials/labor part... but here is where the entire project falls...
Materials: $2500
Labor: $2700
Harwood Hood (New, Jegs) $650
SS Spoiler (Had it for 3 or 4 years, bought from friend) $300
Car Dollies (Harbor Freight) $100
Glass Removal/Instillation $150 ($75 out, $75 in)
Emblems (Year One) $200
Total $6,600. Cant beat $2700 in labor with a bat. I can attest to roughly 200-250 hours into this car, but I have no clue what really might be in it. I will ask him later on when he is completly finished what kind of hours he really has in it.
