Question Good place to put neons?

I bought 2 10" red neon sticks from Wal-Mart. Where is the best place to put them? Under the dash, or under the seat? Call it rice all you want, I don't care.

Check out the pics in my sig. I have mine mounted on the side running boards. I used the stock screws to mount it. Easy removal when I get sick of em.

The ONLY neon that I have on my car, and will ever have is a place that you don't have to put yours.... in the RamAir hood inlets...

Stick neons (like yours) look best up under the dash; unless you put them on the sides like that other guy did.
Before i bought mine, a guy recommended buying 2 license plate frames rather than sticks and put them under my seats. I did and wired it to a switch and they look GREAT- they light up both the front and back floorboards. But for yours I'd personally go w/ up front.

I had planned on putting mine under the dash, but I do like them on the sides like that. I might actually put the ones I'm about to install on the sides now, because there is no "perfect" spot under the dash for them to go without some sort of drilling or strong (permanent?) adhesives - unless I just have not put enough thought into it.
My only concern with putting them on the sides is people not realizing they are there and breaking them when they get in...

Where did you get the chrome rear bowtie?
I want either a black or white one for my Z. Thanks,
