Car is black with black leather. I don't plan to touch the interior much just the exterior. It's getting repainted as we speak and I plan on getting the chrome replacement decals for it. The front chevy symbol, the little decal on the tip of the front bumber cover, and both side and the rear Z28 decals. So besides that the whole rest of the car will still be black. A STB,SFC's,and LCA's are going to be the next additions since the car is now converted to T-top'd I want to keep it rigid. I just don't know what colors to go with. I was thinking red because I think it looks pretty good under a black car. Unfortunately it isn't my favorite color. Not that I don't like it, I just don't care for it all that much. Any ideas for a color combo? FYI the chrome decals haven't been purchased yet so if you have any different ideas let me know. The original decals were black and they looked good too. Helped keep the car looking like a sleeper. Not that it sounds like one.

Red on black is about my favorite combo. However, since it isn't yours and you'd prefer chrome on black combo, several of those suspension parts come in silver powdercoat. If doing chrome, I'd probably do silver. However, if doing my favorite, red, then the red suspension parts as well

 

I like "Hugger Orange" with black...My Black SS has the STB,LCA's,PHR,& relocation brackets & calipers all done in orange...might not be for every one.... but something about black & orange works for me...

I have a Black car and I am going with Chevy orange.

 

In a couple of weeks I’m getting my car re-painted black. What I’m going to do with the decals is get the reflective silver, from Brent94Z. I have red lights glowing underneath the car right now and it looks great. I think the black, silver and red combo is going to look awesome when the car is finished.

 

Ok what do you guys think of the chrome decals on the body, then the red accent colors on the suspension parts? At the reasonable price of the suspension stuff I'm probably just going to buy everything I want all at once. STB,SFC,LCA,& Panhard. I was thinking of getting my rotors & calipers powdercoated by BMR also. Like I said earlier, although I don't care for red all that much. Unfortunately it looks very good under a black car. I just don't like the looks of red decals on a black car. I somehow feel it breaks up the smooth lines, I can't really explain why. Opinions on the chrome decals or just go with black again?

 

What you said sounds good but how about silver suspension from BMR and gunmetal stripes? that's the combo I would go with anyway and since you are gonna get stuff from bmr they will powdercoated it silver for free I think maybe 10 bucks more I can't remember
