Gold emblems and inserts on a black car?

Im trying to decide on this, i have a black vert with tan top and interior, so i have 2 options:
-painted silver Z28 emblems, stainless stell inserts
-painted gold Z28 emblems, gold plated inserts

The silver type theme looks good on a plain black car, but ive never seen any gold emlems on black. Any pictures to help me decide, or opinions?

Hmmm, that is a tough one. You have a good point about there not being a lot of gold on black camaros, so that's a good decision on being unique. But you don't want it to look too bling bling either. If you do do the gold, you may have to do the front bowtie grill emblem gold too, Or it may look to bling and you can keep it. You should try taking pics of your car at different angles and do a good photoshopping of it to see how it might look.

I wouldn't do the gold. If my choice was between gold and silver, I'd go with silver, but if my car was black I'd most likely go with red emblems and inserts or at least the red-outlined emblems, like black SS's have.

I love red lettering and emblems on black cars.

Oh is that the kit? I was gonna go with the chrome one from RKSport but it's way too much money for me to spend on that. It includes all the emblems, plus a license plate frame too, right? They offer a gold or a chrome kit.

I personally don't like gold/tan on black cars, really only on green cars.

Personally, I would do Silver/Chrome then get a black top and maybe even convert the interior in the future.

I had the chance to do that when i re did the interior, but the black/tan just grew on me and now i love the look.

Im only getting the gold inserts from rksport, the emblems im painting. Ill have 2 of the emblems painted within the next hour. One of the "Z28"s i was trying to get off with the heat gun got messed up (my fault) so i have to wait a few days to pay $30 for a new one from the dealership.
