I'm getting my Z28 painted in a month...problem is I haven't decided on a color...I'm keeping the black on the top but right now's it maroon on the bottom. I'm either going to go one of three routes...Like a metallic blue, hugger orange or a silver.

I have the black C5 Corvette wheels on my car so I'm just trying to mentally picture my car in my head which would look the best.

I wouldn't paint your car, I think the marroon color is awesome, infact if anything, I would just have the roof painted to match. But if you do anything, definietly get the roof painted to match whatever color you do, I think the cars look stupid with the black roofs.

 

My car is T-Top...I honestly don't care for the maroon too much. I was thinking the candy apple red route as well but lately the hugger orange look is pulling me in

 

WTF!? Dude 4th Gen Camaros looks sweet with Black hardtops!!! This is why I have a black hardtop LT1.

 

Either bright blue metallic or sunset orange metallic would look great.

Maybe you just mean '98-'02 cars. Ehhhhh... Z28s should always have a black roof to me, but I think the '98-'02 SSes look great with body colored everything.

 

Since it's T-top, I'd have the roof halo painted body color. My 30th anniversary Z is that way and I think it looks badass.

I've always loved the way the 4th gen Camaro looks from above.

 

i left mine w/t tops white across the top. either way i think they look pretty cool. i thought i had a better pic from higher up but i couldnt find it.
