Getting my butt chewed out by locals...
We all know that the LS1 Camaros are sometimes mistaken for Sebrings 
...and in a wierd way I think so too...it really sucks. I'm not one for stickers and stripes as some people mentioned to me I should do...I like it plain and simple. I just need some reassurance that our cars DON'T look like Sebring's or any Mopar for that matter...I may have a complex now. I need some fighting words to fight back....also I got the Catfish thing
What do you think?

The two cars DO look alike!!
It's all in the headlights. I've been parked side by side with one, and I spent a moment and compared.............damn! 
WAY too similar!

Yeah. I think they look like catfish. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the car before it came out. No offense, but when I saw what the '98 camaros were going to look like, I made sure to buy a '97. I was only about 3 months from being able to order a '98 too. Even though I don't have the LS1, I wouldn't like to drive around in a '98 or newer. Just my opinion. I'm sure there are many people who are just the opposite. They like the newer front end better than the '93-'97.
By the way, I don't notice the catfish thing as much in a darker paint color. It's the light paint color that makes the black mouth show up so much on the '98 and up camaros. I'm more used to it now though.
I don't think they look all that similar to sebrings.

I just don't like the Z-28's they look like a bigmouth bass coming at you on the road 
But, the SS's can pull off the look I guess it's the hood
Just get a SS hood or some kinda hood other than stock and It'll look hella better I think

I never saw the likeness with a Sebring. Ever. And Im always surprised nobody said it looks more like a Concorde, the hood lines and everything are percisely the same. I wouldnt be surprised that you sould fit a Concorde hood on a LS1 without a problem.
