Gauges behind vents in a Formula/TA?

Has anyone tried to install gauges behind the center vents? I tried searching but didn't find anything close. It would be nice to have the ability to hide the gauges by closing the vents, but is it possible?
Thanks

If you put them behind the vents, it seems to me that you would not be able to read the guages very good at all. I'm sure it is possible, but not very feasable, IMO.

Only thing i ever thought about putting inside the vents is a shift light. I'd have to say the guages back there would be really tough.

I think he means to replace the vent completely with the gauge, making it VERY visible and it does look nice.

no, he clearly says he wants them behind the vents.

I've been considering a hidden N20 set-up. I think I have everything figured out but the gauges. I don't want to have everything tucked away out of sight while having an obvious nitrous pressure gauge. My other option is to replace the center vent w/ a fuel pressure gauge and put the nitrous gauge in the center console storage compartment.
Thanks for the replies.
