Here we go! I did a dash conversion on my 94' V6 CAMARO from a 98' T/A.

I KNOW THAT THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED ALOT, BUT I DID A SEARCH ON IT AND CANT QUITE FIND MY ANSWER.

The thing is , that i got the gauge out of this 98' T/A and did the wiring schematics that are found in here (cant remember his name but the only ones in this site )and connected them and they did not work.
Later after doing more research I found out that only the 97' model gauges work.

My question is : Do the gauges have t be out of an LT1 or can they be out o a regular V6 97'? (my car is a v6) all of the searches I've done say only LT1 gauges.

Last question: What is the difference b/w the analog and digital gauges; how can you tell them apart??

well thats my post any help will be greatly appreciated! If only you know how bad it sucks to drive around and not know how much gas you have and how fast yu are going!!!

i know the feeling with the gas guage. (POS 83 subu gl)

anyways digital guages work on exact pulses of electricity. for instance .5v. an analog guage works on a sinewave. you should be able to use a multimeter to tell what you have.
